Job summary

UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill, NC seeks an experienced project administrator to direct, organize, and control project activities under a PM or Director. This hybrid, full-time role spends over half the time on project management and coordinating with team members.

The position offers 40 hours per week, day schedule, and a $24.98–$35.91 per hour salary range with a commitment incentive of $3,000 paid in installments over 3 years. Join UNC Medical Center’s P&A Surg Admin team.

Qualifications

• Requires high organisation and ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and coordination with diverse teams.
• Experience with documentation control and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assists Project Manager in developing a comprehensive workflow process for projects.
• Maintains communication with project members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks and proper documentation.
• Monitors and adjusts project schedules; maintains document control and tracks project activities and communications.
• As project lead, prepares and edits project-related presentations and charts; coordinates meetings and travel arrangements.
• Schedules follow-up meetings and develops communications for project stakeholders; tracks status and prepares reports.
• Provide administrative support for the General Surgery Residency Program.
• Assist with resident onboarding, educational activities, meetings, and program operations.
• Collaborate with faculty, residents and institutional partners to support graduate medical education initiatives.
