Job summary

Aleut Federal, LLC in Reston, VA is seeking a Project Controls Director to lead program control management and financial operations across multiple units. This senior role reports to the VP of FP&A and requires deep cost accounting, planning, and reporting experience.

The position is hybrid (3 days in office, Arlington or Reston) and focuses on timely cost reporting, EAC reviews, cash flow forecasting, invoicing coordination, and compliance with FAR and government procurement regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• 12+ years of related experience, including 5+ years managing PC/Finance staff.
• Knowledge of FAR and government procurement regulations.
• Excellent accuracy and detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Costpoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and databases.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate internal and external financial reporting for cost, revenue, and profitability.
• Review actual project costs for labor, materials, ODCs, and travel.
• Lead monthly budget-to-actual variance analysis and forecasting.
• Oversee month-end revenue and cost accruals and EAC reviews.
• Manage AP/AR processes and vendor invoicing to ensure timely billing.
