Job summary

Arctic Peak in Herndon, VA is seeking a Project Control Analyst to support project managers with financial planning, cost tracking, and reporting across federal contracts. You will set up projects in Deltek Costpoint, monitor forecasts, and ensure accurate month-end close and invoicing while coordinating with operations on risk and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project controls or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business preferred.
• MS Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivot tables).
• Experience with Federal Government contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP, etc).
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with project control, cost, schedule, and reporting.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Costpoint.
• Handle procurement, materials management, and invoicing processes.
• Provide project scheduling support using Primavera.
• Monitor cost/schedule baselines, forecasts, and burn rate; prepare monthly reports.
• Assist Month End Close, A/R, and A/P activities and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with project and operations teams on risk and deliverables.
