Job summary

Menemsha Solutions is seeking a Project Accountant to manage project accounting and interface with project teams, subcontractors, and other personnel. This hybrid role includes three days in our Norwell, MA office and the option to work two days remotely.

Responsibilities include inputting budgets and change orders in Sage, managing client billings and subcontractor payments, and coordinating with the construction team for timely invoicing and closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent in work experience is preferred.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of two (2) years of project accounting experience preferred
• Construction industry experience required
• Sage experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Event 1/ Office Connector experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Attend project award meetings and project startup activities.
• Input budgets, subcontractor contracts and change orders in Sage.
• Understand client contract terms (billings, reporting, closeouts).
• Coordinate with construction team on client billings and timely closeouts.
• Prepare & submit client billings; manage accounts receivable follow-ups.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to collect waivers and manage payments.
