Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team in a hybrid role with responsibilities spanning financial reporting, cash flow management, and year-end close. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in managerial accounting, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and hands-on experience with Timberline, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, and Great Plains, preferably in construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a managerial accounting role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Extensive experience with financial reporting and preparing financial statements.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing accounting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Timberline, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, and Great Plains.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations of our accounting department, including the management of our accounting staff.
• Training staff to ensure they are up to date with the latest accounting practices and software.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, providing insights on our company's financial status, and proposing actionable solutions for improvement.
• Managing cash flow and ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Processing bonuses and other forms of financial compensation for our team.
• Preparing and reviewing year-end financial statements and leading the year-end close process.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest financial legislation.
