Job summary

Scripps Research is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support CAMPP projects, coordinating planning, management, and execution to deliver milestones on time and within budget. The role collaborates with scientists across laboratories and departments, anchored by the Calibr-Skaggs collaboration to push translational science forward.

The position is hybrid, located in La Jolla, CA, and requires leadership skills to manage diverse teams and complex timelines while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in biology or related field.
• Minimum four years of project management and/or leadership experience.
• Experience collaborating with scientists, engineers, usability researchers, and engagement managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align integrated timelines and resources to meet milestones.
• Attend monthly and quarterly meetings and issue summaries/minutes.
• Support project planning and manage multiple priorities.
• Monitor progress and report to the program manager.
• Coordinate critical contract activities with administrative colleagues.
• Prepare and submit progress reports to funders (NIAID).
• Build strong cross-department relationships.
• Identify and manage project issues and risks.
• Maintain team alignment with goals, plans, roles and schedules.
