Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Tucson, AZ seeks a Specialist of Program Cost Controls to oversee EAC development, cost forecasting, and variance analysis within the OSC Finance team. The role partners with CAMs and Program Management, balancing financial commitments across multiple contracts.

The ideal candidate has a university degree or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and experience in production or schedule-driven environments. Relocation and benefits are available as applicable.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience in developing, updating, and status reporting of financial and performance metrics.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools in a production/schedule driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Support creation of Estimates at Complete (EAC) on a quarterly basis including costs, risks and opportunities.
• Provide cost, schedule and funding planning, reporting, monitoring, and analysis support to OSC leaders and management.
• Prepare program financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts.
• Manage cost accumulation methods weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
• Provide cost reduction project support based on manufacturing and functional expertise.
• Assist in development of cost estimates for new business proposals and basis of estimates.
