Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Program Controls Analyst in the Buffalo/East Aurora area to join the Space and Defense team. The role emphasizes creating and maintaining robust program schedules, cost control, EV reporting, and governance support within a hybrid work environment.

Ideal candidates have a finance or related degree, 5+ years of experience in project controls, EV management, and proficiency in scheduling tools and Power BI. Travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience.
• 1+ years Earned Value Management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project/program controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Deltek Open Plan) preferred.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, with strong numerical and data-interpretation capability.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to travel up to 5% (as needed)

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing and maintaining integrated program schedules, ensuring robust logic, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Performing schedule analysis, progress measurement, and performance forecasting.
• Assisting in conducting detailed cost variance analysis and Earned Value Management assessments.
• Assisting in leading the consolidation of schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data into accurate, timely management reporting.
• Maintain and analyze RAID information, highlighting emerging risks and variances early.
• Assisting in ensuring the program aligns with organizational controls standards and governance expectations.
• Contributing to the development and rollout of improved controls processes, tools, and templates.
• Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, analytical rigor, and effective stakeholder engagement.
