Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Program Controls Analyst to join our Space and Defense team in Buffalo, NY with a hybrid work schedule.

You will lead planning, scheduling, cost control, Earned Value reporting and governance, ensuring robust baselines and accurate data. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in program controls, EV experience, and proficiency with MS Project, Deltek Open Plan and Power BI, with travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • 1+ years of Earned Value Management experience.
  • Experience in project/program controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or related analytical discipline.
  • Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (MS Project, Deltek Open Plan) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong numerical/data interpretation.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated program schedules with robust logic, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Perform schedule analysis, progress measurement and performance forecasting.
  • Conduct detailed cost variance analyses and Earned Value Management assessments.
  • Lead consolidation of schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data into timely management reporting.
  • Maintain and analyze RAID information, highlighting emerging risks and variances.
  • Ensure programs align with organizational controls standards and governance expectations.
  • Contribute to development and rollout of improved controls processes, tools and templates.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, analytical rigor and effective stakeholder engagement.
