Job summary

Moog, Inc. is seeking a Program Controls Analyst for our East Aurora, NY team with a hybrid schedule. You will develop and maintain integrated program schedules, conduct cost variance analysis, Earned Value management, and governance support to ensure robust baselines built on accurate data.

You will lead schedule and cost reporting, RAID management, and ensure alignment with Moog's controls standards while collaborating with finance and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 1+ years Earned Value Management experience.
• Experience in project/program controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or related analytics.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (MS Project, Deltek Open Plan).
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with strong numerical and data interpretation.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining integrated program schedules with robust logic and dependencies.
• Perform schedule analysis, progress measurement, and forecast performance.
• Assist in detailed cost variance analyses and Earned Value assessments.
• Lead consolidation of schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data for management reporting.
• Maintain and analyze RAID information to highlight risks and variances.
• Ensure programs align with organizational controls standards and governance expectations.
• Contribute to developing and rolling out improved controls processes and tools.
• Demonstrate professionalism, analytical rigor, and stakeholder engagement.

Our team in East Aurora, NY is looking for a Program Controls Analyst to join their dynamic team! As a Program Controls Analyst, you will be a key member of Moog’s Space and Defense team, reporting to the Finance and Analysis Manager. This Program Controls Analyst is a high‑impact position where you’ll provide expert planning, scheduling, cost control, Earned Value reporting, and governance support—ensuring program teams are working to a robust baseline underpinned by accurate data and strong analytical insight.

This role sits in East Aurora, NY (hybrid work schedule available).

Here’s what you will need to bring with you to be considered for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field.
• 5+ years relevant professional experience.
• 1+ years Earned Value Management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project/program controls, planning, PMO, cost engineering, or a related analytical discipline.
• Proficiency with scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, Deltek Open Plan) preferred.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Excellent analytical skills, with strong numerical and data‑interpretation capability.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to travel up to 5% (as needed)

As our Program Controls Analyst, you will make critical contributions but holding responsibility for:

• Assisting in developing and maintaining integrated program schedules, ensuring robust logic, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Performing schedule analysis, progress measurement, and performance forecasting.
• Assisting in conducting detailed cost variance analysis and Earned Value Management assessments.
• Assisting in leading the consolidation of schedule, cost, risk, and milestone data into accurate, timely management reporting.
• Maintain and analyze RAID information, highlighting emerging risks and variances early.
• Assisting in ensuring the program aligns with organizational controls standards and governance expectations.
• Contributing to the development and rollout of improved controls processes, tools, and templates.
• Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, analytical rigor, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Salary Range Transparency

Buffalo, NY $80,000.00–$110,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
