Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations or business admin preferred; significant operations experience may substitute.
• Minimum three years supervisory or scheduling/planning experience required.
• Experience in production management, supervision, and planning/scheduling ideal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Supervise and support Production Leads and Operators involved in coiling, forming, grinding, packaging and other manufacturing processes.
• Ensure effective use of equipment, materials, and labor to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Monitor production performance and adjust plans to resolve bottlenecks or delays.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Promote and enforce a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Lead daily production meetings with operations and Inside Sales.
• Drive process improvements and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage training matrix and identify cross training needs to create a flexible work force.
• Assist in the budgeting process and manage accordingly.
