Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting complex production applications in financial services.
• Hands-on UNIX/Linux, Java/J2EE, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, and automation across RPA and batch environments.
• Strong database experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server; experience with middleware and cloud.
• Experience with monitoring and incident-tracking tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic; Remedy/HEAT).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience; good communication in a global matrix.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to boost productivity and solve problems responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on production support for mission-critical payments and FX apps, restoring service within SLAs/OLAs.
• Lead incident and problem management per ITIL and Deutsche Bank standards; communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Analyze application/infrastructure flows; remediate performance, resiliency, and technical debt with teams.
• Drive continuous service improvement by automating tasks, improving monitoring, and platform hygiene.
• Engage in SDLC; review production changes and participate in business continuity Planning.
• Maintain documentation; monitor events on the 24x7 workbench; coordinate vendor rosters and training needs.
