Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a full-time Business Analyst / Product Owner at our Honolulu headquarters to help drive software development and serve as the liaison between management, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in BA/PO for cloud or enterprise software, with skills in systems design, SDLC, and Agile, plus wireframing experience. Hybrid work is available after training, based in Honolulu, HI.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of related work experience including project management experience leading small to medium projects.
Proficiency in system design.
Applied knowledge of SDLC and agile methodology.
Experience in wireframing and prototyping.
Background in HR, onboarding, or applicant tracking systems desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field desirable.

Responsibilities

Gather and translate business functionality from stakeholders into system requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure specifications are met.
Oversee multiple projects and prioritize a product backlog.
Provide technical support from inception to completion.
Identify and implement process and product improvements.
Assist and train end users.
Develop and understand project reporting requirements.
Become a subject matter expert in assigned domains.
Understand business needs and prioritize against product team goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
