Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components seeks aProduct Manager for its Optical Communications division, hybrid in Hudson, MA or Poway, CA. You will own the product lifecycle, drive market strategy, and coordinate across R&D, Manufacturing, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure profitable growth.

You will translate market needs into actionable plans, lead cross-functional initiatives, and support NPD/NPI, pricing, and lifecycle decisions to sustain long-term market leadership. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or technical graduate degree is a plus
• 3+ years managing or supporting product lifecycle in PM/PMM or related role
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and marketing teams
• Experience in fiber optics, telecommunications, data communications, connectivity, manufacturing, or tangible technical products preferred
• Experience with global teams, customers, suppliers, or cross-functional orgs preferred
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers, suppliers, and industry partners
• Ownership mindset and proactive, entrepreneurial attitude
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and commercial success of assigned product lines.
• Develop and execute product plans to maximize revenue, margin, market share.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify requirements and trends.
• Gather and translate feedback into actionable product requirements.
• Lead the New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI) process across cross-functional teams.
• Define product requirements, business cases, launch strategies, and commercialization plans.
• Support product validation, customer trials, qualification activities, and launch readiness.
• Develop pricing strategies and profitability models.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain on forecasts and inventory planning.
