SENKO Advanced Components, Inc. is actively seeking an Application Engineering Manager to lead the Applications Engineering function and act as the technical bridge between customers, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales.

You will drive customer success through technical leadership, training, testing and new product introductions. The role leads a team of application engineers, shaping technical direction for fiber optic connectivity across data centers, telecoms,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in fiber optic connectivity, passive optical components, telecommunications, data communications, or related technical fields.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or project leadership experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40% required.
• Proficient with computer skills including MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Applications Engineering team with clear objectives and performance goals.
• Serve as SENKO's technical authority on fiber optic connectivity solutions for customers and internal teams.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex customer issues, coordinating with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing.
• Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders, capturing market trends and improvement opportunities.
• Lead technical aspects of New Product Development (NPD) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
