Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with a focus on insurance or risk management.
• 6+ months of experience in insurance product filing, regulatory compliance, or related role within P&C insurance.
• Progress toward CPCU/INS/FLMI/ACP/CCP/ACCP preferred; shows commitment to professional growth.
• Works on low to moderate technical assignments and coordinates with teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting insurance product filings (forms, rates, rules) to state departments.
• Monitor filing status and respond to regulatory inquiries timely.
• Collaborate with product development, actuarial, and legal teams to gather info for filings.
• Maintain detailed records of filing activities and outcomes.
• Assist in interpreting state regulations to ensure compliance.
• Provide regular management updates on filing activities.
• Enter data into filing systems and resolve data errors.
• Identify opportunities to streamline procedures and reduce costs.
• Support with product development data and external producer appointments.
