Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Claims Intern for Spring 2027 in Cincinnati, OH. This role provides administrative and project support to the Claims team, with a hybrid schedule and at least 50% in-office time, offering a hands-on learning environment.

You'll gain exposure to claims systems, document workflows, and vendor invoices while developing business, risk management, and insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a degree in Risk Management and Insurance, Business or related disciplines is encouraged.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills expected.

Responsabilités

• Provide project and administrative support to Claims staff to help facilitate efficient claims operations.
• Manage incoming document mailboxes and add supporting documentation and vendor reports to electronic claim files.
• Review, enter, and process vendor invoices for payment within established authority levels.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence to appropriate parties.
• Learn and use claims systems, databases, and other business applications to complete assigned work.
• Maintain accurate and organized claim documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders while supporting claims-related activities.
• Participate in special projects and additional assignments as needed.
