Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst in Cincinnati, OH. The role blends business analysis with hands-on technical work, translating complex needs into scalable IT and data solutions.

You will partner with stakeholders and technical teams across the SDLC, performing requirements gathering, configuration, SQL data analysis, automation, testing, deployment, and production support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience spanning business and systems analysis and hands-on application support.
• Experience defining requirements and designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, maintaining, or configuring enterprise applications in a business setting.
• Professional designation preferred, such as Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent cloud certification, ITIL Foundation, CBIP, or CISSP.
• Advanced knowledge of SDLC and ITIL practices for software development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business issues and translate them into detailed specifications for IT and data solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to model requirements and develop workflow diagrams.
• Lead testing, debugging, and deployment of application updates with minimal disruption.
• Use SQL and BI tools to gather, analyze data and support decision-making.
• Manage application security and user access in line with data protection standards.
