Piper Companies seeks a Procurement & Contracts Management Consultant to support a major capital project expansion in a highly regulated sector. The role partners with project leadership, engineering, construction teams, and suppliers to execute procurement and contracting activities.

Based in Gaithersburg or Frederick, MD, with hybrid work, the position demands strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration across SOWs, MSAs, and purchase agreements to deliver value

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, or contracting experience on capital projects.
• Experience procuring engineering, construction, or technical services.
• Strong ability to negotiate SOWs, MSAs, and service agreements.
• Experience with competitive bidding and vendor management.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead procurement and sourcing for engineering, construction, and facility expansion.
• Develop RFPs, RFQs, bid packages and vendor selections.
• Negotiate and draft SOWs, MSAs, and contracts.
• Coordinate contract approvals and ensure policy compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage procurement risks.
• Support procurement reporting, spend analysis, and cost savings tracking.
