Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Sr. Manager, Procurement in a hybrid Houston area role. You will lead capital project procurements, optimize supplier engagement, and drive TCO across multiple sites.

You’ll partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment with capital investments and reliability improvements. The role requires 8+ years in procurement, strong negotiation, and experience with ERP and sourcing platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive procurement experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex sourcing initiatives and deliver value.
• Experience with supplier relationship management and procurement governance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for capital investments and manufacturing infrastructure.
• Lead supplier negotiations for capital projects and long‑term service agreements.
• Drive total cost of ownership, value engineering, and lifecycle cost initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and finance to support planning and execution.
• Govern procurement processes and monitor supplier performance across projects.
