Job summary

UPMC is seeking a full-time Process Analyst to support Procure to Pay operations. The position focuses on leading Supply Chain Management projects and initiatives related to business process development and improvement.

The role involves identifying improvement opportunities, implementing automation, and coordinating cross-functional teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience are required, with equivalent education considered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• Or Equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Continuous business process improvements over key areas of accountability
• Identify opportunities for improvement and propose initiatives in business processes and services through comprehensive analysis and detailed process reviews
• Analyze transaction issues and design solutions to resolve the issues and improve the overall Procure to Pay process flow
• Identify and implement technology solutions to support automation and operational efficiency
• Participate on cross functional teams (internal and external) to support business objectives
• Support and lead the implementation of operational efficiency initiatives
• Prepare and present project status reports
• Assist in business process improvement training as needed
• Manage Procure to Pay key control reports and address process gaps/risks
• Manage the resolution of issues that are escalated to UPMC Management, as delegated
• Oversee the relationships with third party vendors who provide outsourced services to UPMC Procure to Pay
• Oversee Procure to Pay activities in the absence of the Sr. Manager, Procure to Pay
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management or related field and 3 years of related work experience required.
