Job summary

Amwins Self-Funded is seeking a Premium Specialist in Scottsdale, AZ to manage premium files, review statements, and assist with commissions. The role offers in-office work with up to 2 remote days after training and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will support reconciliation, file compilation, and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced insurance environment. A related degree and 1 year of AR/AP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of AR/AP/Billing experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Experience in insurance industry a plus.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage premium files and set up by client and plan year.
• Review backup statements and disburse funds across accounts.
• Assist with commission processes for late payments and follow up on receivables.
• Coordinate and resolve premium issues with Account Management.
• Support reconciliation of block of business.
• Adhere to accounting policies and filing systems.
• Assist with bank wire and deposits.
• Compile electronic and manual files for groups.
• Collaborate with team on various projects.
