Middough Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design within industrial power systems, including 120V-15kV AC systems and PLC controls, with NEC compliance and standards in mind.

The role involves creating detailed drawings, performing engineering calculations, and collaborating with the design team to advance projects. Experience in power systems and a PE license is preferred, with strong communication and organization skills essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technology degree or B.S. in Electrical Engineering required with a focus in power systems.
• 5 - 10 years of Electrical Engineering experience.
• PE license preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.
• Ability to multitask and organize for project efficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Collect and prepare data/information and perform detailed engineering calculations.
• Design detailed drawing packages including electrical one-line diagrams, installation details, bills of material, panel schedules, lighting plans, motor schematics, conduit/cable plans, field wiring diagrams.
• Create specifications for various electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motor control centers.
• Create I/O schematics for instrumentation and control systems.
• Assist in field work, checking installations, and problem-solving activities.
• Work with Electrical Design Team to complete drawings and 3-D modelling.
