PSEG Long Island LLC is seeking an analytical professional to provide support for power system management, forecasting electricity use for 1.1 million customers on Long Island. The role interacts with finance, energy efficiency, and ISO bodies to deliver reliable load projections.

Responsibilities include regression modeling, regulatory testimony preparation, and data analyses. Requires a quantitative degree, 3+ years in utilities, and SAS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantitative analysis in utilities.
• Strong regression analysis skills and advanced spreadsheet modeling.
• Proficient in SAS or similar statistical software; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electricity use, weather and economic data; create monthly variance analyses.
• Join NYISO Load Forecasting Task Force to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare testimony and exhibits supporting load forecasts for DPS Rate Cases.
• Respond to data requests from federal, state and local authorities.
• Develop regression models for weather normalization and peak demand.
