Job summary

PSEG Long Island LLC is seeking an IT Business Analyst to manage and improve systems, document business requirements, and set up reporting. You will become an expert in product capabilities and collaborate with stakeholders to address business challenges and deliver improved customer experiences.

You will partner with IT and business teams to define requirements, organize activities to achieve product goals, and support QA, test planning, and user support materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 2 years of experience in business analysis or IT.
• Experience across project lifecycles, requirements gathering, testing, and operations support.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to collaborate across IT and business teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 including Excel advanced features and VBA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead for assigned applications and systems, providing analytical and technical support.
• Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize requirements; identify improvement opportunities and develop specs.
• Lead technology initiatives through full project lifecycle using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods.
• Maintain SAP Asset Registry data accuracy and develop reports to support decision-making.
• Manage software licensing activities including forecasting, procurement support, and renewals.
• Support IT governance initiatives, cybersecurity, data governance, and technology modernization.
