Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Supervisor Load Forecasting and Analysis to lead the forecasting team, coordinate forecast execution, and establish governance to support load forecasting processes. This role provides direct supervision of analysts and ensures forecast work aligns with quality standards and regulatory filings.

The position partners with management and technical leads to maintain forecasting methodologies while ensuring delivery of forecasts and related work products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or other related field.
• Seven (7) years of relevant work experience, including five (5) years in an energy related industry involving performance of complex analysis.
• Experience using relevant models.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively and efficiently analyze resource planning issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and cultivate strong working relationships with contractual counterparties, regulators and other industry participants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage complex projects.
• Proficient with suite of word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
