PSEG Long Island seeks a Policy & Strategy Analyst to help shape regulatory policy and strategy for LIPA's market initiatives. This role focuses on filings, policy research, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work with Legal, Planning, Energy Trading, and LIPA teams to ensure policy consistency, engage stakeholders, and support regulatory filings across NYISO, PJM, and FERC. Travel to meetings on Long Island and beyond may be required.
This position is responsible for providing regulatory policy and technical support to the overall Management and Administration of Market Policy & Strategy for LIPA as outlined under OSA. PSEG Long Island currently manages and advises LIPA on Wholesale Market policy and related issues at the State, Regional, Federal, and Regional Transmission Operator (RTO) levels as well as Capacity Market Requirements and Compliance.
As an employee of PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm/outage restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions different from normal operations and work extended hours beyond your regular work schedule. You may also be required to work on premise or in an alternate location as directed by the company.
