Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking an Engineer II to support electric distribution projects, design and coordinate execution, and serve as the primary contact for customers, developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

This role blends engineering expertise with relationship management, requiring clear communication and the ability to manage multiple projects from design through field execution. Hybrid work includes three days in office per week with remote flexibility based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in utility, energy, distribution or infrastructure.
• Experience supporting customer-facing engineering or design projects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interaction with customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to field locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and construction packages for electric distribution projects per standards and regs.
• Serve as the primary customer-facing representative, providing technical guidance.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, developers, field personnel, and internal departments.
• Perform field assessments and site visits to evaluate conditions and determine design requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, material requirements, and project documentation.
• Manage multiple projects, maintaining schedules and budgets.
• Review drawings, specs, and calculations for accuracy and quality.
• Support construction activities with technical assistance and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate project records and utilize company systems for tracking.
