Job summary

Bridgeway Partners, Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Designer to join its Massachusetts team in a hybrid role.

You will review plumbing designs for residential, commercial, and specialized facilities, prepare and revise drawings, and apply plumbing codes and standards. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of plumbing design experience, reads construction documents, and collaborates with mechanical, electrical, architectural teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of plumbing design experience within an MEP consulting firm or related environment.
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial building projects.
• Familiarity with plumbing codes and building systems.
• Ability to read construction documents, interpret markups, and produce accurate design drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred.
• Fire protection or sprinkler system design experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing designs and layouts for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
• Prepare and revise plumbing drawings based on engineering markups and project requirements.
• Apply applicable plumbing codes, standards, and design practices.
• Coordinate plumbing designs with mechanical, electrical, architectural, and other building disciplines.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and meeting project deadlines.
• Support projects ranging from residential developments and commercial renovations to restaurants and specialized facilities.
