PAE in Boston seeks an Entry-Level Plumbing Design Engineer to start a career in plumbing system design for the built environment. In a hybrid office setting, you will learn to design and model plumbing and distribution systems under seasoned project leads and gain fluency in industry-standard software and codes.

You'll contribute to project teams, perform fundamental calculations, and develop documentation while growing technical mastery and professional practice in a collaborative environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering for discipline work.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit/AutoCAD.
• Analytical and organizational skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of plumbing system design and documentation.
• Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for design and drafting tasks.
• Support engineering distribution and Plumbing tasks.
• Learn drawings, specs, codes and standards in plumbing design.
• Complete assigned work with project team guidance.
• Assist with construction administration.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations.
• Design plumbing layouts and contribute to documentation.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
