PAE CONSULTING ENGINEERS INC is seeking an entry-level Plumbing Design Engineer in Boston. You will learn plumbing system design, modeling and documentation while collaborating with project teams in a hybrid office setting.

You will develop proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, assist with engineering distribution, and study drawings, codes, and industry standards. The role offers mentorship and opportunities to grow toward professional certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required or related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain is preferred.
• Internship experience with engineering teams is a plus.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of plumbing system design, modeling and documentation.
• Gain proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools.
• Provide task-based support for engineering distribution and plumbing.
• Understand drawings, specs, building codes, and plumbing standards.
• Complete assigned work with instruction from project team.
• Assist with construction administration activities.
• Perform mechanical calculations and simulations; design layouts.
