Job summary

Kennedy Jenks is seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer for our Oregon and Washington offices to support water and wastewater projects. The role involves evaluation, design, and construction of complex conveyance facilities and acts as a technical resource on multidisciplinary teams.

You'll advance projects from planning through construction, collaborate with teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure high-quality client service across civil infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of pipeline engineering experience, including design and construction support.
• PE license in CA, OR, or WA preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Support pipeline design and analysis for water and wastewater pipelines.
• Prepare designs, specs, drawings, alignment studies, and commissioning.
• Apply industry standards and regulatory requirements to guide design.
• Provide construction-phase engineering support and RFIs.
• Support asset management and condition assessments; rehab decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff; write reports.
