Job summary
Kennedy Jenks Consultants in California is seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer to support water and wastewater pipeline projects from planning through construction. You’ll evaluate, design, and provide construction support for complex conveyance facilities and act as a technical resource on multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements include a California Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain within six months), a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental/Mechanical engineering, and 10+
Qualifications
- Education and experience: Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering; 10+ years in pipeline engineering.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with pipeline design software and hydraulic modeling tools is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to pipeline design and analysis across water and wastewater projects.
- Provide construction-phase engineering support including reviews of submittals and RFIs.
- Develop and review designs, specifications, drawings, and alignment studies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff.
- Support asset management decisions and condition assessments.
