Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Pediatric Residency Program Coordinator within the Department of Pediatrics. This role coordinates the program's core curriculum, evaluations, and learner assessment, and supports recruitment and ranking efforts in collaboration with residency leadership.

The coordinator will maintain program files, ensure compliance with GME/ACGME policies, and liaise between program leadership, residents, and affiliated hospitals.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two years of related experience/training.
• Thorough knowledge of policies and regulatory requirements in health professions education.
• Strong oral and written communications skills with active listening and critical thinking.
• Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail.
• Experience with educational software and platforms; data management and analytics.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the Pediatric Residency Program's core curriculum, evaluations, and learner assessment.
• Maintain learner compliance tracking and program recruitment/ranking processes.
• Serve as liaison between program leadership, residents, and affiliated hospitals; manage program files and accreditation documentation.
• Analyze daily activities, prioritize requests, and support curriculum development and efficiency.
• Ensure alignment with GME/ACGME requirements and department goals.
