Auto Warehousing Company in Dearborn, MI is hiring a Payroll & Timekeeping Specialist to compile and record employee time and payroll data, audit field submissions, and produce pay statements. The role requires attention to detail and strong accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in payroll, proficiency with Excel and HRIS/timekeeping systems (UKG a plus), and is comfortable working in a unionized setting with travel as needed. Hybrid work arrangement in Dearborn.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in payroll and benefits processing within a unionized environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems; experience with UKG (Ultimate Software) is a plus.
• FPC certification a plus
• Strong analytical, communication, time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Audit payroll data submitted for processing from locations for US subsidiaries.
• Process weekly transfer of payroll data.
• Compile and maintain payroll records including new hires, status changes, terminations, LOAs, and garnishment information.
• Serve as a resource to HR Payroll Coordinators to promote consistency and accuracy in payroll practices.
• Provide training materials and support for HR payroll, including travel to support training.
