Job summary

Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a Payroll Tax & Payroll Specialist to manage payroll tax accounts for new entities and coordinate with ADP, ensuring accurate filings. The role also supports biweekly payroll for 70+ entities and ~7,000 employees while upholding compliance and company policies.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in payroll, strong knowledge of tax regulations, ADP Workforce Now experience, and excellent analytical skills. Hybrid Denver-area role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, including payroll tax administration.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain federal, state, and local payroll tax accounts for new legal entities.
• Serve as the primary contact for payroll tax notices, audits, and agency correspondence.
• Partner with the third-party payroll tax vendor to research and resolve tax issues.
• Monitor payroll tax compliance and support tax account maintenance activities.
• Assist with the accurate and timely processing of biweekly payroll for 70+ entities and 7,000+ employees.
• Research, analyze, and resolve payroll-related questions and discrepancies.
• Support continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional payroll service and support.
