Job summary

TPG Staffing is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor for a growing Central New Jersey company based in Highland Park. This role combines hands-on payroll processing with leadership, overseeing a team and ensuring accurate, timely processing for multiple client accounts.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll rules and experience with ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, and UKG across multi-client environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience supervising payroll staff or teams.
• Experience across multiple client environments and payroll platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Payroll certifications such as CPP or FPC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple client companies across various frequencies.
• Remain hands-on in payroll processing and provide coverage as needed.
• Handle data entry for time and attendance, earnings, deductions, and employee changes.
• Work with ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, UKG and similar systems.
• Review payrolls for accuracy and compliance with wage, hour, and tax requirements.
• Assist with quarter-end and year-end processing and reporting.
