Job summary

Century Fasteners Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team in a hybrid Tampa Bay area role. This position owns accurate payroll processing for multiple states using ADP Workforce Now and supports general ledger, monthly close, reconciliations, and audits.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of payroll or accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong Excel skills, and a mindset for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of payroll processing or accounting experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and general ledger.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis.
• High attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process regular, supplemental, bonus, commission, and special payrolls using ADP Workforce Now.
• Review time and attendance data, payroll registers, deductions, and funding for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile payroll liabilities, payroll taxes, and benefits.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Assist with external audits and 401(k) reporting.
• Coordinate payroll-related 401(k) activity and audits.
• Provide headcount, overtime, and labor-cost reporting for mgmt.
