Job summary

Global Electronics Association is seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, general ledger maintenance, payroll processing in ADP, and HRIS administration. You will own end-to-end payroll, partner with HR on data integrity, and perform core accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include multi-state payroll processing, journal entries, reconciliations, GAAP compliance, and collaboration across departments to improve data quality and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with ADP payroll and HRIS platforms.
• Experience with mid-market ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, or similar).
• Familiarity with AI agent use in support of Accounting task.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP, payroll tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, strong communication and stakeholder partnership.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close and general ledger maintenance.
• Own end-to-end payroll in ADP and HRIS administration.
• Assist with full-cycle month-end and year-end close including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and flux analyses.
• Support financial reporting and management reports; assist audits.
• Oversee AP/AR and cash; review aging and payment runs; perform cash reconciliations.
• Drive automation and process improvements as an ADP/HRIS super-user.
