Job summary

Mass General Brigham Incorporated is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support weekly and monthly payroll processing across our entities. This role requires a strong payroll background, analytical skills, and a technical (systems) orientation, with the ability to handle both production tasks and employee inquiries.

Based at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA, this hybrid position offers onsite work at least 4x per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business & Finance preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• CPP or FPC certifications preferred.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Run the payroll process including calculation, complete and settlement processes to get employees paid.
• Audit retro transactions to ensure timely payroll processing.
• Review CAPAS retro transactions as required.
• Analyze reports and audits during payroll processing to prevent errors.
• Troubleshoot and fix pay-impacting integration issues (including UKG).
• Provide responsive Tier 2 service via Service Now.
• Process adjustments to balances, earnings and taxes as needed; meet deadlines.
