Bene-Care is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join the Payroll Division in our Webster, NY office. You will manage the end-to-end payroll lifecycle for clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance across multi-state payrolls.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in payroll, proficiency with Excel, and strong attention to detail. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, with salary in the $45k–$55k range and on-site collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in payroll; hands-on processing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Professionalism with confidential information handling.
• Accurate data entry and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll clients.
• Gather, validate, and enter payroll data to ensure timely processing.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations; apply changes.
• Troubleshoot payroll, tax, system, and compliance issues.
• Train clients on payroll software and ongoing system usage.
• Maintain client records in the payroll system and update as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support client service.
• Assist clients with HR compliance questions.
• Distribute payroll packages (printing, mailing).
• Support department initiatives and special projects.
