• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related area preferred.
• 3 years payroll experience
• 4-5 years payroll experience with an Associate's degree
• 5-7 years payroll experience with a high school diploma
• Proficiency with Excel and payroll systems

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll and related activities with precision
• Ensure timely submission of payroll
• Adhere to guidance while proposing enhancements to payroll processes
• Revise working instructions and payroll SOPs as necessary
• Make informed payroll decisions independently and seek input as needed
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and laws
• Handle payroll functions with confidentiality and uphold ethical standards
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations
• Assist business office with data entry, reporting, compliance, and bookkeeping
