Job summary

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in accounting and 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• 10+ years of accounting experience required.
• Payroll processing and financial reporting experience required.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred; certification pursuit encouraged.
• Prior leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with PeopleSoft HCM preferred.
• Experience with Workday HCM preferred, including payroll, time tracking, benefits, and GL.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee payroll operations with accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Support the transition from PeopleSoft HCM to Workday and drive process improvements.
• Manage payroll system implementations, upgrades, testing, UAT, data validation and system conversions.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Internal Audit, Compliance, Shared Services and IT on payroll initiatives.
• Oversee payroll reporting, reconciliations, audits, year-end processes and internal controls.
• Coach, mentor and develop associates.
• Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in handling payroll and associate information.
