Job summary

Chuck & Don's is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & HR Specialist in a hybrid role, based in Woodbury, MN. You will manage full-cycle payroll, ensure tax compliance across states, and maintain accurate HR data in Paylocity.

You'll collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve issues, run reports, and support continuous process improvements while ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience processing high-volume payroll on bi-weekly cycles.
• Associate degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred.
• CPP certification preferred.
• Payroll experience in retail/services sector preferred.
• Proficient with Paylocity; advanced Excel and Office tools.
• Located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

Responsibilities

• Processes accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, commissioned, and other eligible team members.
• Reviews payroll data prior to submission to identify errors and resolve issues.
• Maintains and audits payroll information including wages, hours, deductions, and taxes.
• Partners with managers to resolve timekeeping issues and improve accuracy.
• Maintains Paylocity configuration, records, and HR data integrity.
• Provides payroll and HR data reporting for leadership and audits.
