Job summary

Capstone is seeking a Payroll and People Operations Administrator to own payroll, benefits, leaves, and compliance, while delivering strong employee service. This hybrid role is based in MN with a minimum three days in the office and up to two remote days.

You will support day-to-day HR operations and ensure accurate payroll processing. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in payroll/HR operations, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Paylocity and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Five+ years in payroll/HR operations, benefits administration, or similar role.
• Experience with Paylocity or comparable HRIS/payroll system.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, COBRA, ADA, ACA, HIPAA).
• Experience administering benefits and leaves of absence.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll in Paylocity HRIS with high accuracy.
• Administer employee benefits programs and leave of absence processes.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain HRIS records and manage organizational charts.
• Prepare payroll and benefits reports for leadership and audits.
