Job summary

DCM Services, LLC in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our hybrid team. You will manage multi-state payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS tasks under a seasoned mentor, ensuring accurate, timely pay and compliant benefits handling.

You will handle new hires, terminations, payroll updates, and benefits enrollment while maintaining strict confidentiality and high accuracy across 550+ employees.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of payroll administration experience.
• Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and wage & hour regulations.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (Paylocity experience is a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for multi-state operations, including salaries, bonuses, benefits deductions, garnishments, and taxes.
• Manage payroll updates for new hires, terminations, and pay changes with precision and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare payroll reports and support internal and external audits.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and questions.
• Verify insurance billing and maintain accurate benefits records.
• Support open enrollment processes and benefits communication.
• Process benefits changes in the HRIS system for seamless payroll integration.
• Help prepare required benefits notices and compliance reporting.
