Job summary

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator to join the Legrand North America (LNA) Team in West Hartford, CT. This position follows a hybrid work model. In this role, you will support accurate and timely payroll processing, funding preparation, reconciliations, and related activities.

You will also assist with acquisition integrations, business changes, and system upgrades. The team emphasizes confidentiality and collaboration across HR/Finance and other business units.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll experience with an enterprise HR/Payroll system.
• Multi-state payroll experience.
• Hands-on experience with year-end processing and W-2 reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day payroll using Ceridian Dayforce and/or Oracle systems while protecting confidential information.
• Calculate, verify, reconcile, and transmit payroll for each assigned business unit.
• Run audit reports and provide them to the appropriate HR and/or Finance team members.
• Maintain accurate company and employee payroll records.
• Prepare, balance, and distribute payroll and benefit funding requests and related vendor payments.
• Prepare and maintain journal entries and reports to support the monthly financial close.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts.
• Understand various tax calculations and regulations.
• Review tax agency notices and coordinate their resolution.
• Support internal and external audits and special projects as required.
