Connect Search LLC in West Allis, WI is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist to join its finance team. This role combines weekly payroll processing for union and nonunion staff with full-cycle accounts payable duties, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple vendor accounts.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (2 remote days per week after training), a pay range of $25–$28 per hour, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Experience processing weekly payroll (union and nonunion).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage vendor accounts.
• Ability to support general accounting activities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly union and nonunion payroll including wages, overtime, deductions, and changes.
• Review timekeeping records, investigate discrepancies, maintain payroll records.
• Manage PTO, garnishments, terminations, and other payroll updates.
• Prepare monthly union reports and remittances.
• Reconcile payroll reports and assist with audits and year-end activities.
• Ensure payroll processing complies with applicable wage and hour regulations.
• Review and process vendor invoices, verify approvals, match invoices to purchase orders, and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly payment batches, print checks, and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate accounts payable records.
• Process tax-exempt certificates, credit applications, and fuel card transactions.
• Assist with inventory transfers and job costing transactions.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting activities.
