Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join a collaborative payroll team. You will process payroll for ~1,000 employees across multiple states, serving as the primary U.S. payroll processor for biweekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle runs.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, owns deadlines, and balances processing, auditing, compliance, reconciliations, and employee support. Hybrid schedule: onsite three days/week, with two days remote; full-time, ~40 hours.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience supporting multi-state payrolls.
• Experience processing payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
• Ability to process biweekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Audit employee changes, including hires, terminations, changes, and corrections.
• Create payroll batches and validate calculations.
• Reconcile payroll data and research discrepancies.
• Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage payroll taxes, garnishments, compliance, and reporting.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities and W-2 reconciliation.
• Partner with HR on new-hire support and onboarding activities.
• Collaborate with Accounting on payroll reconciliations and reporting.
