Job summary

Early Warning is seeking a Sales Solutions Engineer to blend payment-technical expertise with sales acumen. You will support pre-sales and post-sales, design solutions, and articulate value to clients in the U.S. payments space.

The role requires strong API/SDK skills, familiarity with major ecommerce platforms, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting in U.S. payments/fintech.
• Proficiency with APIs, SDKs, cloud platforms, and ecommerce integrations. Familiarity with Shopify, Magento, or SFCC is a plus.
• Strong understanding of U.S. payments regulations (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC).
• Ability to translate complex payment solutions for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to identify opportunities and provide technical expertise.
• Design tailored payment solutions for clients and integrate with ecommerce platforms.
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and demonstrations.
• Create solution documentation, guides, and client-specific proposals.
• Ensure security policies and data confidentiality are maintained.
